• Trim spaces, find and replace text, and rename, remove, or reorder columns.

• Normalize dates to YYYY-MM-DD, with month/day/year or day/month/year controls.

• Keep rows by matching a value or filtering empty cells.

• Remove duplicate rows or deduplicate by one selected column.

• Combine debit and credit columns into one signed amount: credits positive, debits negative.

• Preview up to 100 rows before exporting.

CSV Goblin runs locally in your browser. No account, server, internet connection, uploads, tracking, subscription, or API. Saved recipes contain settings only. Keep recipes in your browser or export/import them as JSON files.

REQUIREMENTS & NOTES

Current desktop Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari. UTF-8 CSV files are supported; save legacy spreadsheets as UTF-8 CSV first. Automatic date parsing assumes month/day/year when both date numbers are 12 or less. Review the preview, especially for ambiguous dates and amount formats. CSV Goblin is a general file utility, not accounting or tax advice.
